Tucked away in a secluded woodland area, we instantly felt a sense of tranquility and escape from the outside world. The cottage itself was beautifully equipped with everything we needed and more. The hosts, Mary and Harley, went above and beyond to make our stay special, with little treats waiting for us upon arrival. Exploring the enchanting forest with our dogs was a highlight, particularly stumbling upon a picturesque stream that felt like a fairy tale escape. The location was perfect for exploring the stunning North Devon coastline, just a short drive away. The only minor drawback was the inconsistent wifi, but honestly, it was a nice break from the online world. we highly recommend Little Woodacott for a truly magical getaway in nature.

I had a truly lovely stay at a charming cottage nestled in the woods. Little Woodacott was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well-equipped. the peaceful location allowed for scenic walks along a winding path that led to a river. the hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, even providing a cream tea upon arrival and fresh milk and drinks. the thoughtful touches extended to our furry friend, as they supplied special treats for our dog. The cottage's proximity to stunning locations made it an excellent base for short drives. Cons: Nothing for me. 😊.

The lodge had a lovely terrace where I could enjoy a drink and soak up the sun. I also had the pleasure of relaxing in their charming garden. Truly a treat for nature lovers like myself.

Oh, such a shame there wasn't a terrace on the moon for me to sip my champagne!

We arrived at a hidden gem in the woods, Little Woodacott, on a cold and rainy night. Despite the weather, the cottage was beautiful and clean, with a ready-made wood burner and electric blankets on the beds. The owner had even set the table for breakfast. Waking up to the sound of birds and encountering little wildlife on our walk was truly magical. We can't wait to return in the future.
